As children, we're all asked the question "What do you want to be when you grow up?" How did you answer?

What have been the most defining moments along your career path?

Realizing that working in a lab would not be personally fulfilling and redefining career goals. Completing an internship at a start up and realizing that working in a small environment was incredibly motivating.

How did you get your big breaks?

A combination of hard work and good luck. Networking.

What was the best advice you received when you were first starting out in your career?

Try to look for something positive to be gained from every professional experience.

What have you learned from your experience?

You don't have to have it all figured out when making career decisions. Digging deep to discover what truly motivates you is essential to finding a job that makes you happy.

What most excites you about your job right now?

Connecting with people on a personal level to empower them in new ways.

What would you like to have achieved by the last day of your career?

The knowledge that I have made a positive lasting impact on others.
