Tad Gulesarian
Consultant

The travel is great too but it can be extensive and can also be the worst thing at times.

What have been the most defining moments along your career path?

I chose to go into consulting because I wanted a broad understanding of business and I didn't think banking could provide that broad aspect. I made the right decision.

How did you get your big breaks?

I started with an internship with Anderson during business school.

What was the best advice you received when you were first starting out in your career?

If you want to be staffed out of a foreign office as a new hire, it's important to have a particular expertise like a fluency in the language.

What have you learned from your experience?

Analyst program spit people out after two years. Most people go to business school and some go to law school. It's a great time to go of on your own with some experience behind you.

What most excites you about your job right now?

I love it! I like the responsibility, learning about general operations of a company. It's more of a broad view than working in banking. The travel is great too but it can be extensive and can also be the worst thing at times.
