Experience Salary Survey Results- Sales

From May to September 2006, Experience asked graduating students (class of '06) to share their success in finding a full-time job. We are pleased to let you in on this hiring information now. Take a look at what the class of 2006 is up to- and benefit from the experiences of other members in the Experience community!

Majors in management and communications were most popular for students hired in this industry, but other majors hired included engineering, English/literature, mathematics, history, economics and language.

For full-time sales jobs, the median salary was $36k-$45k. Positions were found in all kinds of companies: communications/media, consumer products, finance/banking, healthcare, insurance, retail and technology.

Hiring organizations included AFLAC, Black & Decker, Dell, Eli Lilly, Fifth Third Bank, Fisher Scientific, Newell Rubbermaid, Nestle, Northwestern Mutual and Thomson Learning.
