Official rules to participate in the Exclusive Government Experience Job Shadow

UNITED STATES CITIZENS WHO ARE 18 ARE OLDER. CONTEST VOID
1. Content Description
The Exclusive Experience (the "Contest") is a skill contest where submissions will be accepted on or about 11/16/06 and ending at 11:59 PM (ET) on 11/26/06 ("Submission Period"). Contest applicants, which must be individuals, may submit an application (the "Application") in accordance with the Specifications as defined herein. Limit one Entry per Entrant, and all Entries must be submitted during the Submission Period. The Application must be the original work the applicant. Experience will review each Entry and finalists will then be contacted for a phone interview. Selected finalists will then be asked to develop a weblog (blog) about their daily life as they search for a career and explore the career industry for 20 days.
CONTEST ENTRANTS MUST BE LEGAL RESIDENTS OF ONE OF THE 48 CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES OR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA AND AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD AT TIME OF ENTRY TO BE ELIGIBLE (19 IN ALABAMA AND NEBRASKA). VOID OUTSIDE THE 48 CONTINGUOUS UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. Employees of Experience, Inc., their affiliates, their advertising or promotional agencies, independent contractors working directly on this program, and the immediate family members or persons living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter. Eligibility may be verified at any time.

4. Rights and Releases
(a) If the Entry contains any material or elements that are not owned by the Entrant and/or are subject to rights of third parties, the Entrant is responsible for obtaining, prior to submission of the Entry, any and all releases and consents necessary to permit use of the Entry by Experience in the manner set forth in these Official Rules without additional compensation or liability (the "Third-party Releases").
(b) By submitting an Entry, all Entrants irrevocably transfer and assign to Experience all right, title and interest in the Entry (including, but not limited to, all copyright and intellectual property rights) in any and all media, locations around the world, and derivatives of the original work in perpetuity.
(c) By submitting an Entry, Entrants grant permission to Experience to use their names, likenesses, photographs, voices, answers and/or biographical information in connection with the Contest and for all publicity relating to the Contest without additional compensation.
The winning Entrant will receive: A one day job shadow with The Department of of Energy, which includes 4 hours of informational meetings. Total approximate retail value: $0. Experience reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of comparable or greater value.
7. General Conditions
Contest Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these official rules. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Finalists and winner will be notified by email. Return of any finalist or winner notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. If the winner is unreachable after 48 hours, or if the winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner may be selected at the sole discretion of Experience. All decisions are final. Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission for Experience to use Finalists' and winner's name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. By entering, participants release and hold harmless Experience Inc., subsidiaries, and affiliated companies, and each of their directors, officers, employees, independent contractors, representatives or agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this Contest or acceptance or use of any prize won. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by Experience in the event that the prize cannot be awarded for any reason, in which case, Experience will award a prize of equal or greater value. Income and other taxes, fees and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of winner.
If for any reason this Contest is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Experience which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, Experience reserves the right at their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Experience assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Experience is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Experience on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in the Contest or downloading any materials in the Contest. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. If Experience determines in its sole discretion that there is any suspected or actual evidence of fraud relating to any portion of the Contest, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Contest, Experience reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest, in whole or in part, at any time without notice. Experience is not liable for any failure to display the Photo Entries.
(a) The winner will be notified by email on or around November 30, 2006.
(c) This Contest is governed by and subject to the laws of the State of Massachusetts; the Contest is void where prohibited by law, and the decisions of Experience are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest.
(d) The Sponsor of the Contest is Experience, Inc., 2 Faneuil Hall Marketplace, Boston, MA 02109.
