Experience Salary Survey Results- Energy & Utilities
From May to September 2006, Experience asked graduating students (class of 2006) to share their success in finding a full-time job. We are pleased to let you in on this information now. Take a look at what the class of 2006 is up to- and benefit from the experiences of other members in the Experience community!
Most students hired in this industry pursued engineering majors specializing in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering. Other majors hired included business and computer science.
For full-time jobs in the energy & utilities industry, the median salary was $46k-$55k. Salaries for engineering jobs ranged from $46k up to $65K, while analyst, accounting and logistics positions tended to fall around the median.
Hiring organizations included Baker Hughes, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Halliburton, and Sunoco.
